CBT therapist with extensive experience in working with all anxiety presentations, depression, trauma and eating disorders.
Book a sessionMy name is Steph and I am Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, who has worked in the field of CBT for over 10 years. Most of my work was within the NHS, delivering low and high intensity cognitive behavioural therapy to clients with mild to severe mental health problems. By using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy I help an individual understand where the problems come from, look at a way of mapping this out and then approach it practically by helping to implement behavioural and cognitive changes. My sessions are usually weekly and clearly structured to help working towards a treatment goal that we set together and regularly review. I work with all the anxiety disorders (health anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, generalised anxiety disorder and specific phobias), depression and low mood, low self esteem. I have had extensive training and experience in working with trauma focused CBT for PTSD and complex PTSD. Over the last 3 years I have had additional training in working with eating disorders (non-underweight anorexia, bulimia, binge eating) and gained considerable expertise within this area. I also have a particular interest in the impact of breast cancer on mental health.
