I am a dedicated fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over a decade of experience working with common mental health difficulties in the NHS and private sector.
Book a sessionMy approach as a therapist is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices honed over years of working with diverse populations across varied age groups. Throughout the past decade, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges; from anxiety disorders and depression to trauma and stress-related disorders. In line with my values, I offer a compassionate and empowering approach to helping clients work towards their identified goals using practical strategies tailored to each of their unique needs. I appreciate taking the first step towards accessing psychological support can be difficult. Therefore, I am very much committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their innermost thoughts and emotions freely to enable them to embark on a transformative journey towards mental wellness. This can only happen in a safe space. With a firm belief in the power of collaboration, I work hand-in-hand with my clients to develop personalised treatment plans that that unique, foster positive change and enhance self-awareness. As a CBT therapist, my ultimate goal is to empower my clients to challenge negative thought patterns, cultivate healthier coping mechanisms, change unhelpful behaviours and ultimately reclaim control over their lives. As a therapist from the Global Majority, I have a special interest in the profound impact culture often has on mental health. I am especially interested in exploring how cultural values, traditions, and experiences shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. My approach as a CBT therapist is rooted in cultural sensitivity, recognising that each of my clients cultural background may play a crucial role in their mental health journey and when appropriate, how their cultural identities can be integrated into the healing process. I have worked in the field of mental health over the past 15 years.
