About me

I am a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the BABCP. This reflects my commitment to high standards in training and experience in CBT, as well as my dedication to maintain excellence in clinical practice, supervision, and professional development in line with established ethical frameworks, to deliver professional treatment. I hold a BSc (Honours) degree in Counselling Psychology, accredited by the BPS, from the leading experts in psychology, which had provided me with a solid foundation in various psychological disciplines. My diverse therapeutic experiences have enriched my ability to become profoundly skilled in therapeutically treating psychological problems. I have extensive experience of working within the NHS, the private sector as an independent practitioner, and across various mental health clinical settings, including primary, secondary and third sectors. I specialise in supporting clients with a range of psychological presentations throughout the lifespan and all walks of life, from milder presentations through to moderate, more severe and longstanding difficulties. Additionally, I have significant experience supervising and mentoring psychotherapists. I am highly trained in various evidence-based therapeutic protocols and tailor therapy, bespoke to individual needs. Within therapy, we will work collaboratively, to assess and understand your psychological problems, gaining insight in to the development and maintenance of your difficulties, make sense of your experiences by exploring your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and implement effective therapeutic techniques accordingly. I am conscientious and competent in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, consultations, formulations, to deliver tailored treatment interventions. My therapy is centred around creating a compassionate, client-focused environment, where people feel safe to explore their psychological problems, and empowered to become their own therapist.
