About me

Hi! I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with 9 years of experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, and stress, both in the NHS and privately. I’ve had the privilege of helping clients from all walks of life make meaningful, lasting changes to their mental health and well-being. In addition to my work with clients, I also work as an Associate Professor, training and supervising trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, helping them develop their skills and enhanced their understanding of the therapeutic process. This role has deepened my commitment to providing the highest standard of care, both as a therapist and as a tutor. I have a specialist interest in supporting individuals with social phobia, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and neurodiversity-related challenges, including autism and ADHD. If you struggle with self-doubt, feel like you're constantly battling unrealistic expectations, or find social situations overwhelming, I’m here to help. One of the things I truly value is making sure therapy feels right for you. I’m committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can collaborate openly, and your feedback is always welcome. I tailor my approach to suit your unique needs, preferences, and pace, ensuring that the techniques we use align with what works best for you. This might include drawing on strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy, which can help you develop greater self-compassion and live more in line with your values. My goal is to empower you, every step of the way. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve had a less-than-positive experience in the past. It's completely okay to feel unsure or hesitant, and I’m here to explore those concerns with you. If you’re ready to take that first step towards feeling better, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
