About me

Hi, my name is Paul. I am an experienced psychotherapist trained in EMDR, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and CBT. I integrate elements of these therapy approaches to create an intervention that is responsive and matched to your individual needs and hopes for therapy. I offer a non-judgemental space to explore whatever difficulties you may have with curiosity, compassion and sensitivity. These may be difficulties in the present, such as depression, anxiety, anger, traumatic events, life transitions, relationship challenges and loss. They may also be linked to the past and childhood experiences such as abuse, neglect and abandonment. I have specialist training, experience and interest in working with traumatic experiences (PTSD, complex PTSD and attachment trauma) and difficulties associated with self criticism and shame. I have also trained in Dynamic Developmental Psychotherapy, which is an attachment informed intervention.
