Book a sessionOlga gets a great deal of satisfaction from working with the entire range of much varied presenting problems, assessing the different individual needs and providing alternative ways to help discover the most suitable paths for clients to take, in order to help them overcome their difficulties and to achieve their potential. Olga has over 10 years' experience of working in a variety of mental health settings such as educational, voluntary, private and NHS. This has involved short, medium and long-term CBT and counselling for a wide range of psychological problems. Most recently, Olga has worked as a CBT Therapist and Supervisor within a Primary Care Psychological Therapy service (NHS) in London, assessing and treating patients with various emotional difficulties including depression and anxiety disorders. Olga’s areas of interest include anxiety disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety, phobias, health anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and also eating disorders. Olga also has a special interest in working with trauma and self-esteem/confidence issues helping clients to change their self-defeating behavioural patterns and thinking styles. Other psychological and emotional difficulties that Olga has worked extensively are low mood, stress, loss of direction, life transitions, bereavement, substance misuse and trichotillomania.
