About me

So many of us struggle in silence with our anxieties and worries- which can have a profound impact on our physical and emotional wellbeing. You may not be feeling like your usual self or may have lost interest in things you usually enjoy. The burden of your responsibilities or general day to day life may have become overwhelming. However, with the support of therapy, we can work together to fully understand what you are experiencing, identify triggers and stressors that we can work on, and implement strategies to help you feel better. I have vast experience of supporting young people (over 18s), adults, and older adults with low mood (including Low Self Esteem), difficulties related to anxiety (Social anxiety, Generalised Anxiety, OCD) as well as Phobias (for example, fear of flying, fear of heights, or any other specific phobias). I am also able to support you with any trauma you may have been through, whether it is recent or it happened a long time ago. If it is impacting your life we can work together to help you heal emotionally and overcome the distress it has been causing you. Examples of trauma can include accidents or serious injury, abuse, childhood trauma, domestic violence, or any other life event which has been traumatic for you. I am also greatly interested in pre- and post- natal difficulties such as post- natal depression, fear of giving birth, and any other emotional challenges experienced throughout the pregnancy and post- natal period. I would be grateful to have the opportunity to work with you and to help you overcome your difficulties.
