About me

My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a deep understanding that healing is as much about reconnecting with yourself as it is about addressing the wounds you’ve endured. Where relevant I can help you to understand the source of your core pain, which acknowledges and honours the struggles you have already endured while identifying the strengths you have developed to adapt and survive. Where some of these adaptations have become unhelpful, I assist in discovering healthy coping mechanisms and tools moving forward. Compassion comes from the Latin 'com', meaning with and 'passio' meaning suffer. Having lived experience of trauma, I sit alongside you in your struggles. My curiosity about my own challenges has led me to my calling as a therapist. As a person I am deeply committed to the idea that growth is possible for everyone. I’ve walked my own journey of healing and self-discovery, including navigating the transformative role of plant medicines. This lived experience informs my work in ways that training alone cannot, allowing me to meet my clients with empathy and understanding that is both personal and professional. In the therapy room, I create a space where your story can be held with care and respect. Tuning into your inner resources ensures that you develop your own toolkit that is meaningful to you. My passion lies in helping clients untangle the threads of trauma—both personal and intergenerational. I believe that our pasts don’t define us, but understanding them is key to unlocking the light and strength within. I’m inspired by the intersection of evidence-based therapies and holistic approaches that incorporate spirituality, mindfulness, and somatic practices. My toolkit is broad, so whether you need structure, softness, or something in between, we can tailor our work to fit your unique needs.
