Book a sessionI am an experienced psychotherapist working with adults who seek help with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, relationship and family issues. I began working in mental health in the late 1990's when I trained and qualified as a mental health nurse. I subsequently worked for many years in the NHS where I completed my training as a psychotherapist. I was originally trained in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and its ethos and values continue to underpin the way I work. I find CAT to be an insightful and practical approach that helps people get to the root of their difficulties. I have 25 years experience working within the NHS and private practice. This includes working with a wide range of people experiencing a very wide range of different issues which include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and PTSD. Qualifications and specialist training include: UKCP & ACAT accredited Cognitive Analytic Psychotherapist and Supervisor, ACEP accredited EFT Practitioner, TFT Algorithm, Qualified EMDR Therapist, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level 1, Diploma (distinction) Mental Health Nursing.
