I am warm and friendly and have been told by my clients that I am very easy to talk to and that they can tell me anything without worrying I will judge them. I have over 18 years’ experience working in the NHS and private practice, offering assessment and therapy for individuals. I assess and treat adults with a broad range of mental health problems. Using an evidence based approach, I draw on a range of therapeutic models to tailor the therapy to the need of the individuals I work with. I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2006. My training included working with adults and children with a wide range of difficulties including, anxiety disorders, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, psychosis, obsessive compulsive disorder and childhood difficulties. I have a particular interest in anxiety disorders and completed my doctorate research investigation into different Cognitive Models of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
