I have years of experience working with clients to help them reach their goals using evidence-based interventions and in accordance with NICE guidance. I utilize supervision to ensure I am working with you in the most effective way. To make good progress using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), clients should be willing to engage with weekly appointments as well as practicing skills in-between appointments. We will work together to decide upon the best treatment for you to improve your life. I have particular interest in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Social Phobia, Low Self Esteem, Depression, Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia, Health Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and phobias. Taking part in therapy can be emotional; please be assured I will support you every step of the way. I understand the apprehension that may be felt when considering reaching out for help. I consider an effective therapeutic relationship to be highly important to help clients feel comfortable and allow them to get the most out of therapy. I am a warm, down to earth and non-judgmental practitioner who enjoys seeing clients improve their lives via therapy. I am a conscientious and thorough practitioner therefore constantly updating my knowledge and skills is a priority for me. I am currently an Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist in training.
