About me

I’m an Accredited CBT Therapist who believes in empowering people through an educational and therapeutic approach to make changes that align with their values and potential. I offer a safe, friendly, and supportive space where you can explore challenges, build skills, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or other difficulties, I’ll work with you to create a plan that feels right for you. My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs—because therapy works best when it feels personal and collaborative. With over 30 years of experience in mental health, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise. As a former SEN teacher and Sensory Integration Therapist, I understand sensory challenges, particularly for those with Autism, ADHD, and similar experiences. I’m also a registered Mental Health Nurse, having supported older adults, and individuals with learning disabilities or cognitive impairments. I blend evidence-based CBT with other therapeutic approaches to give you practical tools for your life. My career began with a Master’s in Special Education Needs and training in Sensory Integration Therapy, where I learned how sensory challenges can be supported through self-awareness and adjustments. After moving to the UK, I completed a BSc in Mental Health and worked in secondary care, gaining insight into pharmacological approaches to mental health. This inspired me to focus on therapeutic methods that empower people to manage challenges with self-awareness and knowledge, helping them live better lives. I’ve also taught CBT and mental health at the university level, emphasising person-centred care to ensure therapy is practical and empowering. Let’s work together to build self-awareness, confidence, and strategies that work for you. You don’t have to do this alone—I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.
