I am a specialist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with over a decade of experience in supporting others and working with clients who want to understand themselves better, reduce anxiety, manage stress, and find effective and lasting relief. I have a special interest in the treatment of OCD and supporting individuals who might have struggled with either obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviours that they have been unable to manage themselves. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of a range of different OCD presentations. My main goal in OCD treatment is to create a normalising and empathetic environment, where people feel safe to share their difficulties, and if one thing I have learned, intrusive thoughts can be something people struggle in silence with over many years unfortunately. In our sessions whatever the issue, you’ll find a kind and supportive environment where you can explore your concerns without judgment. Together, we’ll work to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and replace them with skills that bring you closer to a life that feels meaningful and balanced. We will do this by taking you through both structured and evidence-based treatments that are proven to work, I will support you to learn and implement new skills and all the while you will feel your confidence in managing difficulties increasing.
