Book a sessionFarah is a qualified BABCP and accredited Senior Psychological Therapist and Clinical Supervisor that provides specialist psychological therapy with particular expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). As a therapist she she has extensive experience of working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. Farah is naturally warm, empathetic and approachable; she is a perceptive observer and believes in active listening. Farah believes that therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in her sessions she promotes behavioural transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. She believes that Therapy is a great tool to develop your sense of self, cope with life stressors and establish goals and values to enable you to feel positive about the future, Farah has over 14 years experience working in the NHS and has spent 6 years as a Deputy Clinical Lead for an IAPT Talking Therapies Service as well as maintaining a private practice. Farah specialises in depression, anxiety disorder, panic, trauma, eating disorders, attachment/relationship difficulties, domestic violence, postnatal depression, long term health conditions as well as providing culturally sensitive therapy. Farah also works using a range of strategies from CBT to mindfulness and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) principles.
