During therapy, I strive to create a supportive and non-judgemental space where we can explore your difficulties together and identify effective strategies to help you overcome them.
Book a sessionTherapeutic Approach I believe that everyone has an inherent capacity for growth and change. However, this potential can sometimes be blocked by challenging life events or deeply held beliefs, making it difficult to move forward. In therapy, my aim is to create a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your difficulties, recognise your strengths, and discover effective ways to overcome obstacles. During the initial stages, we will work together to understand your current challenges, life circumstances, and areas of resilience. From there, we will collaboratively develop a personalised therapeutic plan tailored to your goals and needs, ensuring that our approach aligns with the most effective strategies for your journey. My therapeutic style is flexible and integrative. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and person-centred counselling. This allows me to adapt to your unique needs, whether short-term or long-term therapy is required. Experience I am an HCPC-registered psychologist with over ten years of experience supporting individuals with psychological difficulties. I completed my MSc at King’s College London and earned my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of Surrey. For the past six years, I have worked in NHS secondary care, specialising in treating individuals with enduring mental health conditions, particularly those related to personality disorders. Alongside my clinical practice, I teach at a leading London university and conduct research focused on therapeutic processes and their application. Special Interests I have a particular interest in working with individuals facing challenges related to relationships, emotional impulsivity, and addictive behaviours.
