About me

The aim of psychotherapy and counselling is to bring about personal change. Brian has helped people achieve this by listening, exploring the past, tackling immediate problems such as anxiety and depression, and exploring the external and internal factors that contribute to severe and less severe levels of distress. Recently, Brian has been working with people with low self esteem, guilt, and despair, helping them to value themselves and understand their thoughts and feelings. Brian is a Clinical Psychologist and has worked in the NHS for 40 years, treating people with a wide range of difficulties, leading psychotherapy services, lecturing, and consulting to organizations. His publications and conference presentations reflect his commitment to improving mental health.
