I am a senior consultant psychiatrist in general adult psychiatry and eating disorders. I am passionate about providing high-quality patient care and I work collaboratively on treatment plans, based on evidence-based medicine and patient preference. I have expertise in depression, anxiety, personality disorders, PTSD, OCD, and bipolar affective disorder. I have a special interest in eating disorders and have worked as a medical director for a specialist inpatient eating disorders service in London. I aim to offer a thorough psychiatric assessment with diagnostic clarity and an individualised treatment plan. I have completed my higher training at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust where I worked in liaison, forensic, perinatal, acute psychiatry and specialist eating disorders services at St Thomas, Royal Bethlem and Maudsley hospitals. I have received my certificate of completion of training (CCT) in general adult psychiatry with liaison psychiatry endorsement and also completed Master’s in psychiatric practice at the University of Hertfordshire with distinctions in 'recovery model of psychiatry' and ‘service improvement project’ for patients with ASD. I am actively involved in service improvement projects to improve patient care. One of my projects was nominated for the Douglas Bennett prize by The Royal College of Psychiatrists.
